Starting Out

This is my first post. The blogsphere most likely contains hundreds of blogs from people like me - but this is my blog, and I am excited to join the fray. Although mainstream isn't generally my thing, I long to connect with other parents/women/mothers/wifes who have a yearning for simplicity but are surrounded by a world inwhich simplicty is sold in multiple formats and is no longer simple. We don't want to be martyrs, but we secretly resent that we are too healthy to play that game. Because, wouldn't it be nice, sometimes, to just have no control?
